About Us
Canadian Roots Exchange is a national, non-profit organization whose mission is to build bridges between Indigenous & non-Indigenous youth in Canada by facilitating dialogue and strengthening relationships through leadership programs, exchanges, and gatherings. Rural Youth Reconciliation Initiative
This project will engage rural young leaders aged 18 to 29 from across the country, building a national network of young leaders realizing their own transformative visions of community building.
Rural teams of Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth leaders will work together over three months to plan and implement a community project within their respective communities. The first teams in Lloydminster, AB; Kamloops, BC; and Kangirsuk, QC have been launched and recently completed a 4-day training outside of Montreal, supported by Equitas.
More information about the teams' projects coming soon!
