We learned about Community Action Projects CAP, Sustainable Development Goals SDGs, Human Rights, more specifically the Universal Decalration of Human Rights, the United Nations Declaration for the Rights of Indigeneous People and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
We were equiped on how to become changemakers in our communities, the various steps and necessary skills to have the youth voices heard in other to bring desired change.
We are planning to equip LGBTQ youth migrants with these tools back in Montreal so that they engage with decision-makers to make their communities more inclusive and respectful of gender diversiy.
We would like to invite all LGBTQ migrants and/or refugees youth accross Montréal to join us in this effort to make our city more sustanaible, inclusive and free of discrimination related to gender
